I think that iMovie is a great tool to use and have had fun creating two assignments on it. While it was a bit time consuming it was a great and wonderful tool. There was just so much that I wanted to put in and that I felt was important to the topic so it's a bit longer than 5 minutes. By using this tool to create videos like this I think students are more engaged in what they are learning. I look forward to using it again in the near future! I hope you have just as much fun watching this as I did creating it!
Sarah, your video looks great. I like the way you have the objectives clearly outlined and the key terms (vocabulary) written early in the video. This will help the children clear up any misunderstanding about terms they may have before watching. Great pictures as well!
ReplyDeleteI loved how you started off the video with the sound of the ocean. It immediatley pulled me in to the project wanting to find out what was going to happen next. I also like how you outlined the overview of the video and you put in narration. The participation of our student was also a cool idea. It is so true that the earth is greatly polluted and needs attention. What a great way to help out by starting with the school and the students! Way to Go!!
